Camper Van build
This summer, my father built a camper van together with me.
Since a few years, I have the dream of being much more independent by having the choice to travel wherever I want in a van. Last year I went on a camping holiday to andalusia with a rented van in April.
We had a Fiat Ducato, which has plenty of space and there are enormous cool builds of motorhomes available on the internet to get inspiration. Yet, my father had the good decision to use a smaller car and only build the essentials so that one can be on the road for 2-3 weeks.
Mainly, this also does decrease the time which is used to build everything needed, as it is quite minimalistic.
Still, there is about everything one really needs. One can cook using the gas cooker and use the Boxio wash as a small sink with 5L of fresh and waste water. A small dry separating toilet is also available for urgent needs.
And we can extend the wood to have a bed inside of the camper to sleep in a very discrete place.
The whole “Schwerlastauszug” is extendable by 13 0cm so that one has a great cooking place where the meal can be prepared.
There is a table, which is not too comfortable as it is quite narrow in the inside to sit and you can not sit upright completely.
On board is also a 2kWh Ecoflow - which is to large sized but also very great, a 20L cooler box and a roof tent.
I also did tint the back windows, though I am not too happy with the result, so I would recommend to let professionals do this for you.
